HOA Helper runs as a native Reddit app (built on Devvit) that answers homeowners-association questions in plain language — no dropdowns, no sign-up, just a search bar. Because it lives inside Reddit instead of scraping it, every question typed in becomes first-party dispute data for the hoa_dispute vertical — no Reddit API tier to pay for, no ToS risk. Being precise about status because it matters for diligence:

  • ✓ /api/ask endpoint built and wired to OpenAI + Redis logging
  • ✓ Redis→precedent sync script built and tested end-to-end against a fixture (5/5 records round-tripped correctly)
  • ✓ Ingestion + enrichment pipeline is real and running: 781 unique precedents (CFPB + NHTSA), PII redaction, dollar-amount extraction, near-dup detection
